Our highly respected company in the Alpharetta area is looking for a Global Business Intelligence Manager to provide business intelligence and analytics solutions across the enterprise. These solutions are aligned with business strategies enterprise wide.
How Will You Make An Impact?
  • Ensures programs are envisioned, designed, developed, and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs. Interfaces with the other IT teams and functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs.
  • Ensures data and analytical solutions are well engineered, operable, delivered on schedule, maintainable, and supportable. Responsible for the requirements gathering, development, documentation (including mockups), and compliance with best practices including but not limited to the following coding standards, platform and framework specific design concerns.
  • Contributes to the overall data and analytics system implementation strategy for the enterprise and participates in appropriate forums, meetings, presentations etc. to meet goals.
  • Collect business intelligence data from available sources, including company's business systems but also industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased sources
  • Gathers and understands functional needs, finding key areas where technology leverage is possible to improve business processes, defines architectural approaches and develops technology proofs of concept. Communicates technology direction.
  • Monitors current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects; applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture. Mentors team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture. Applies new and innovative ideas to old or new problems.
  • Monitors the project lifecycle from intake through delivery. Ensures the entire solution design is complete and consistent from the start and seeks to remove as much re-work as possible.
  • Manage the master data of the business and the tools to maintain it.
  • Architect and Implement, integrate, and extract data from data warehouses across the enterprise organization.
  • Audit and take steps to remedy data quality, including making recommendations for end users.
  • Design, code, and manage developers to meet specifications for physical, logical, and end user data, dashboards, and tools.
  • Define, analyze, and report on analytics and financials for a variety of projects.
  • Maintain library of model documents, templates or other reusable organizational process assets
Qualifications to be Successful
  • Must have 10+ years related experience developing solutions using the Microsoft BI stack and relational databases
  • Must have prior experience architecting and implementing an enterprise data warehouse
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Integration Services, SQL Analysis Services, SQL Reporting Services and related data analysis tools
  • Experience working with large, disparate data sets, ETL and data-mining techniques
  • Must be advanced with Microsoft Excel and experienced in Data Modeling and development of KPI Dashboards
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have good knowledge of Data Warehouse Management & experience working in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment
